How can a person get security video footage from hotel?

I was in the same lobby as a celebrity. How can I get the video footage from the hotel. It would be great to have that footage since it's probably the only image I will ever get with this person. I am sure there is a way since many news organizations get security footage. There must be a way... Is there?

1. You are going to have to get a court order unless you know some in the surveillance department. news organizations get them from inside sources or they are released by law enforcement or lawyers. So unless there was a crime committed you are SOL
